3D Printer steps/mm Calibration Board
thingiverse
This is a fundamental steps/mm calibration board, measuring 40x40x4mm in all three dimensions and featuring clearly marked X and Y axes. Freecad, STL, and GCode files generated with Cura are provided, along with a LibreOffice Calc spreadsheet that I use to store my custom settings and fine-tune "steps/mm" (M92) parameters. To calibrate the board accurately, I print it on my Mp Select mini 3D Printer and then measure its dimensions using a digital caliper. The values obtained are subsequently transferred to the yellow column in the spreadsheet. The results are displayed prominently in the green column. This process is repeated several times until the calibration is complete. Print Settings: Printer: Monoprice Select mini / Malyan M200 Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: This calibration board consists of a solid block, making it easy to test any slicer profile, including speed, infill, and resolution settings.
