I've designed custom spacers for mounting IKEA lack tables together, specifically tailored for my home workshop setup. The shorter spacer works perfectly for fitting my HIC Prusa I3 3D printer inside, while the larger one is dedicated to housing my MakerBot clones. Other DIY enthusiasts have created similar projects that incorporate plexiglass sheets for added protection and visibility. However, I'm opting for only applying plexiglass sides to the section containing my RepRap, leaving the other printers with a direct attachment of plexiglass for enhanced durability and accessibility.
