3D Printer Resin Bottle Drainer
thingiverse
Because uncured 3D printing resin is toxic, we don't want to leave any unused/uncured resin around that could potentially end up in a landfill. To help with this, we can make sure to drain every last drop of resin from storage bottles so we can cure it and dispose of it properly. This bottle drainer holds a standard 500 Gram photopolymer resin bottle upside down so it can completely drain over a container of your choice or directly into a resin vat (such as the Anycubic Photon vat). The bottle drainer consists of the main bottle holder and two types of legs, in different STL files. You must print four legs. One type of leg supports the drainer over a flat surface. Another type of leg will support the drainer over an Anycubic Photon resin vat. These special "vat" legs each consist of a leg and a base (printed separately), which must be joined after printing. To make sure the assembly remains "assembled", you should use a bit of glue to keep the parts secure. Legs are inserted into special sockets of the main bottle holder, and slide in from the bottom towards the top. Use glue for a more secure fit.
