Here's a 3D printer that doubles as a drawing printer and laser cutter: https://youtu.be/-lVbsC1Thbc. This device has a printing area of 430 x 320 mm in size, with a height of 150 mm. The bed area is 450 x 350 mm in size and is made of glass, which can be heated by changing the glass itself. The motors used are four NEMA 14HS13 and one NEMA 42HS4401 (or NEMA 17HS4401). Building this printer took two weeks, and now you can build it with parts that I've created, tailored to your specific dimensions. Everything is included here, based on Ramps 1.4, a graphics display of 128 x 64 pixels, and Marlin 1.1.0-RC6 software (with the Configuration.h file included). It's been tested with Slicer 1.3.1 dev. Standard GT2 belt, pulleys, and stepper motors (five NEMA14HS13) are used for this setup. Slider rods have a diameter of 8 mm, while aluminum profiles of 20x20 mm are used for the X axis. A square tube of 25x25 mm is also used for added stability. Two lights intended for a car's 12V 500mA system work great in this setup. If you want more information, just check out the pictures. All parts were created using Blender 2.79 and printed on my first 3D printer, the Stanlez v1.0. This device works perfectly with glue stick only, and I use fillament of 2.85, 2.9, or 3.0 mm with a geared extruder motor and teflone slider tube for 3mm fillament. The extruder is an ED V6 aluminum model with one fan.
