3d Printer Nozzle holder
thingiverse
This steel and copper holder is designed for organizing 3D printer nozzles, which get hot before cooling down against the metal surface. The dimensions of the holder are 8 inches in length and 1 inch in width, accommodating up to eight nozzles labeled with their corresponding extrusion widths in millimeters when clean. These nozzles are compatible with a SeeMeCNC Rostock Max printer, as it uses undrilled nozzles that can be custom-drilled by the user. The holder is constructed by threading a copper wire through pre-drilled holes in the steel, creating 1-inch square compartments. The construction process involves using a bench press to drill the holes and bending and hammering the edges flat to prevent accidental cuts.
