3D printer - no laser cut parts
thingiverse
This is my small 3D printer. It's not a mini version (a bit smaller than standard Prusa). No parts for laser cutting are needed. To build it, you'll need to keep in mind the following basics: 6 mm smooth rods (with relatively LM6uu bearings), M5 threaded rods for Z (2x 20mm M5 nuts), PC PSU 350W, E3DV5 (reworked) clone, Mega2560+RAMPs 1.4, Nema17 motors and a Geeetech 152x152mm heatbed. My build size is XYZ 110x140x90mm. The Z axis can be extended to 100-105 mm. The X axis can be extended to 140 mm if you want to sacrifice three-point bed leveling and rework the Y holder for the heatbed. You can use my version of LCD case if you like: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:743724 My type of Bowden type of Wade's extruder is here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:662780 Additionally, add this lamp to it: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1698383 Most of the necessary parts are shown in the pictures (probably not everything). The project is complete – I won't make any changes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ers53PtnF4A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0d_5CmaeRBg&feature=youtu.be 05.05.2017 I added two new .stl files for 12mm Inductive Proximity sensor and M4 bolt – the last picture. 26.10.2017 The X Axis holders were reworked (3 .stl files) – if you want to use Tr8x8 instead of M5 rods for Z movement. The last picture in the gallery shows this. You need to replace 5x5mm couples with 5x8mm ones. Eight 25 mm bolts and eight self-securing M3 nuts are needed. The nuts should be on top. 26.02.2018 I upgraded it with Tr8x8mm rods. The Z axis was increased to 120 mm. The last three pictures show this. Print Settings Printer: TRENDi Maker V3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 20-30% Notes: Everything is made from PLA, with a layer height of 0.2 – no supports except for one exception: 017_Extruder_Clamp.stl – use support and ABS for better results than PLA.
