3D Printer Monitor for Octoprint ESP8266 NodeMCU
thingiverse
Not having any Wemos 8266 boards, I used the original design as a basis for creating a compatible version with Amica NodeMCU's (V2) instead.\r\n\r\nFor the SH1306 OLED displays, which have different mounting holes than standard NodeMCU ESP8266 boards, two mounts are provided: one labeled RT for RED TAG and another labeled GT for GREEN TAB.\r\n\r\nSTL files for the SH1106 OLED displays are also included in this design.\r\n\r\nTwo M2 x 4 hex head bolts secure the OLED displays in place. M3 x 5 screws hold the NodeMCU board and the mount to the bottom of the case. It's essential not to use an M3 screw that is too long, as it can potentially touch the 8266's pins and cause a short circuit.\r\n\r\nNote: The Octomon_LoLin design is specifically tailored for the LoLin V3 board and a 1306 OLED display. Due to its longer length, the LoLin V3 protrudes slightly from the rear of the case. An additional case design is available for the LoLin V3 board.
