3D Printer LED Spotlight lighting for T-Slot Rails
thingiverse
I just got my 3rd 3D printer a Creality CR-10 Smart and wanted to do some lighting on it for the Pi Camera I have on it. At first I did a LED light bar on the top but it wasn't bright enough for the Pi Camera to see the printers clearly. So my Nephew Max suggested I grab a pair of these LED spotlight (jewerly) lights. They come in a set from Amazon for $11.00. So I created an enclosure for the lights that bolts into the channel on the top of the printer. I've also included the light bar for those who want to put a strip of LED's on as well. Both are attached via M5-8 screws and M5-T-slot Nuts. I designed the spotlight holder with cable management where the wires come up and thru to the back and into a cable management tube. You can then take the wires and tuck them into the channel. I used black shrink tubing with the wires.
