3D Printer LCD graphical display holders
pinshape
I needed to find a way to attach my new graphical LCD display to my reprap printer. I took a design from the reprap folder and adjusted it to suit my needs, adding extra support structures at the bottom. My first attempt used 8 meters of filament, but this version uses only 5 meters and is significantly lighter as a result. To prevent bending that occurs with long objects on my hotbed, I added blocks to each end - just cut these off after printing. The design fits snugly in place, so you might need to use a file to smooth out the slots. I printed this using a 0.3 millimeter nozzle at 0.2 layer thickness, but you can achieve similar results with a 0.4 millimeter nozzle if preferred. Additionally, I increased the overlap of filament to 17 percent, up from 15 percent.
