3D Printer Heatblock 40mm Air Intake Adapter
thingiverse
I designed this to draw in cooler outside air from the enclosure into my CR10S 3D Printer's heatblock to prevent thermal creep. It is currently set up to adapt a 16.5mm hose end to the 40mm fan. I highly suggest using two fans when operating a small hose like the 16.5mm one (Hose Air Intake and Heatblock Fan) to ensure adequate airflow. You will need a longer metric screw than what comes stock. Feel free to modify the mount for your air hose size as needed. Tip: If your hose becomes noisy, you might have to reduce the fan speed or restrict the Hose Air Intake Fan's output, straighten out bends, shorten the hose length, switch to a larger diameter hose, or get a straighter hose to minimize noise.
