3D printer fume extractor kit

This extractor system for your 3D printer utilizes a 70x70 by 25mm fan and standard 4 inch dryer vent hose. The primary component is the inline fan holder, accompanied by flange plates that interface the hose to various surfaces. I recommend using this with a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) controller to adjust the fan speed. Having the fan on full will be sufficient for printing PLA, but you may need to turn it down if you are trying to maintain a warm chamber for other materials. The entire kit prints without supports. The two halves of the fan housing clip together, and zip-ties are required to secure the hose to the ends. The flanges also require M3 bolts. The speed controller I used is available here: Torchstar KBDM-1224V9A-RGB3CN PWM RGB LED Dimmer Controller with 3 Channel Output for Multi-Color and Single Color Strip Lights, DC, 12V-24V, 9 Amp https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008GY6WM2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_fIHpCbM29AF0N The fan I purchased is no longer listed on Amazon, but a 70x70x25mm fan is a standard size, so there are likely plenty of alternatives available. I have created a "fan fit check" model that can be used to verify the fit and scale the model slightly if needed.
