3D Printer Friendly Rambone Slingshot

This slingshot is heavily based on the infamous Rambone slingshot created by YouTube personality Joerg Sprave, but was designed with 3D printing in mind from the start. When looking for existing slingshots on Thingiverse, particularly the Rambone, many models required numerous supports or could only be printed in a way that significantly reduced their strength. So I set out to create this: a strong and ergonomic slingshot based on the Rambone that can also be printed without supports. And here's what I came up with! Let me show you its features! This slingshot can use either rubber strips, which is what I used, or rubber tubes. It's meant to be held with the round side of the handle facing towards yourself when shooting, not away from your body. I designed it to be printed with the flat side down for added stability. To ensure maximum strength, I increased the infill to 50% and cranked up the wall thickness to a robust 5 parameters. For the rubber, I used Theraband Gold from Amazon, which can be purchased in strips that are 5 inches by 6 feet long for just $10. For the pouch, I used some durable leather from an old belt. While you could easily make a pouch from scrap leather, there are also affordable leather pouches on Amazon that would work much better than my makeshift belt pouch. You can also try using duck tape as a makeshift pouch - it's definitely capable of holding the rubber in place. There are plenty of videos online that demonstrate how to tie the rubber to your slingshot, and I found it to be surprisingly simple once I learned the technique. Additionally, I included some 10, 15, and 20 mm balls for ammo, perfect for testing out your new slingshot.
