3D printer filament Spool Support
thingiverse
I designed this simple thing to fit perfectly inside filament spools with an inner diameter of approximately 53mm. It features a single hole in the center that matches the threaded rod from the Anet A8 filament holder, ensuring a precise fit. The outer diameter is precisely measured at 54mm, resulting in a snug and secure fit. The diameter of the central hole measures exactly 8.5mm. This print requires minimal amounts of filament while still offering exceptional strength and performance, making it an ideal solution for various applications. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No rafts are required. Supports: No supports are needed. Resolution: The print resolution is set to .2mm for optimal detail and precision. Infill: The infill percentage is 10%, providing a balance between strength and material efficiency. Notes: I utilized a .2mm layer thickness, 10% infill density, an 80mm/s print speed, a shell thickness of .4, and bottom/top thicknesses of 0. The nozzle temperature was set to 210c, while the print bed temperature was maintained at 50c. I used PLA filament for this project, which printed in approximately 7 minutes.
