3D Printer Filament Spool Insert

My first 3D printer is a STARTT, a wonderfully inexpensive machine that still does a great job. They even included spools of filament and a nice filament holder. Unfortunately, the spools have huge holes in the center, making the holder useless since the spool just sits on its legs rather than floating on the arm... until now! Original Spool Hole Diameter: 54mm (2.25") Holder Arm End Diameter: 20mm Insert Dimensions Outer diameter: 54mm Center hole diameter: 20mm Center gripper depth: 10mm Outer flange diameter: 64mm Outer flange depth: 3mm I made the insert with friction minimization in mind, so its inner hole has a curved surface. The way it's printed ensures that it stays firmly in place on the spool and doesn't "walk around" on the holder arm. The outer flange is also curved to allow for easy grip and removal. It's strong but not overengineered, which means it won't waste much material.
