I designed an internal and manual fan controller capable of handling up to 5 standard 12V PC fans. This setup should fit various printers, but it was specifically created for my Replicator-Clone. The Aerocool F5XT fan controller, available at http://www.aerocool.com.tw/en/fan-controller/single-bay/f5xt, was used in this project. The circuit board can be easily removed from the mount pattern, and the buttons/sliders are held in place with clips. First, I printed the "Mount Pattern" and drilled holes for mounting and slots for sliders using a 3mm drill bit. Next, I printed spacers, buttons, and covers, which all fit together perfectly with only two M3 screws (or other screws if you prefer to use a larger drill). Note: The cover does not have any pre-drilled holes; you will need to glue it in place or, as I did, drill the holes by hand. This was necessary because I slightly misaligned the mount pattern and was able to fix it this way. I upgraded the design with the Slider Button V2, which offers tighter tolerances. The .stp file for the slider button has been uploaded, allowing you to adjust the design if you find that they don't fit properly.
