3D Printer Fan Hub Controller for CTC / Flashforge / Replicator
thingiverse
I crafted a custom fan controller and mounting system for my Replicator-Clone printer, designed to accommodate up to five standard 12V PC fans. This versatile design can be adapted for various printers, but was specifically tailored for my Replicator-Clone. The fan controller I utilized is the Aerocool F5XT, available online at www.aerocool.com.tw/en/fan-controller/single-bay/f5xt. The circuit board is easily removable, and the buttons and sliders are simply clipped into place. Firstly, I printed the "Mount Pattern" and drilled holes for mounting and slider positioning using a 3mm drill bit. Next, I printed spacers, buttons, and covers, which all fit together seamlessly with just two M3 screws (or equivalent). Note: The cover lacks pre-drilled holes; it needs to be glued into place or, as I did, drilled by hand due to a minor misalignment in the mount pattern. UPDATE 03/12/2016 I incorporated the Slider Button V2 design, featuring tighter tolerances. Additionally, I uploaded an .stp file for the slider button, enabling users to adjust the design if necessary to ensure proper fitment.
