3D Printer Extruder for Flexible Filament

3D Printer Extruder for Flexible Filament

Tried out this filament extruder with various flexible filaments from different sources, including TPU Flexible filament, TPE Filament, and Flexible PLA Filament, and it works flawlessly. Overview and Background I've struggled to 3D print with flexible filaments myself, and I know how tough it can be. After trying out a few options available locally, none of them delivered the results I needed. Online extruders were also too pricey for what they offered, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. This DIY extruder design doesn't require any spring tension for the idler bearing - it's fixed in place. However, please note that you can't use this extruder with hard filaments like ABS or PLA. It's specifically designed for use with E3D Hotend and works seamlessly with almost all types of flexible filaments, including TPU and TPE. Check out the video to see the extruder in action. You'll find attached STL and Sketchup Files of the design for your reference.
