3D Printer Enclosure Warning Sign
thingiverse
I wanted to print this in two colors (but I have a single color extruder) so I separated it into two parts, the base and the top. Then I use my BLTouch to make the printer think the top of the previously printed base is the bed, so the top is printed right onto the base. It's easier for me than pausing to change colors. No rushing over to make the color change, no worrying about setting up the printer to pause at the right height, etc. I always have a problem with the print starting again after the pause, and having the printer go right back to print where it left off. It always bloody homes itself and starts fresh so I have to kill the printer and start all over again. Print the base at 0.20 layer height, 0.40 walls and 20% infill Print the top at 0.20 layer height, 0.40 walls and 100% infill If you have a BLTouch, print the base, then reload the next color and print on top of the base for a dual-color print. Otherwise print the base and top separately, then use super glue. Or Put them together using TinkerCad-dot-com and print in one color. No supports needed. Mount near enclosure handle with two-sided tape. Happy Printing !! EDIT (April 9th 2023): I have added an all-in-one by request. Both parts are together so you can print it all in one color, or you can print it in 2 colors and switch colors at the 2mm mark.
