Far from an IKEA store, I too had to get creative and make my own enclosure for my Anet A8 without relying on their touted "lack" of products. Now, I'd like to share this DIY project with you, so tell me, what do you need? To build it, you'll require the following materials: 4 wood strips measuring 50x50x500 mm; 2 sheets of multilayer material, each measuring 700x600x12 mm; 2 sheets of plexiglass, each measuring 500x500x2/3 mm; 1 sheet of plexiglass, measuring 1250x500x2/3 mm (which can be divided into two); the listed brackets that need to be printed; and a sense of fun. Here are the specs for the hinges: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2797211 (V2, which is even stronger). For the power supply switch mount, check out this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2823736. UPDATE: I've added a motor mount (suitable for bowden) that can be placed on the enclosure.
