This is a Core-XY machine nearing completion, with most parts already printed and ready for assembly. The major hurdle lies in the crossing of belts at the front, where I've found that twisting both belts 180 degrees resolves the issue. One belt twisted one way, the other twisted the opposite way, ensures the flat sides of the GT2 belts intersect without problems. This solution is applied at the location marked by a green sphere in the screen shots. The design also ensures even forces across all parts, eliminating uneven forces that can cause torque on sliding components. The finished build measures 50cm square and features 20/20 aluminum tube for exceptional rigidity. So far, everything is functioning as expected. Additional photos will be shared in September/October 2018.
