I'm making full progress with my 3D printer. I've got a 3-axis screw system and an MKS Gen L hot end V6, all parts checked and accounted for. However, please don't make the mistake of installing bolts on the axles, as this will result in a terribly slow printing speed - max 55mm/s at idle, 70mm/s max. Upgrades are coming soon to take my printer to the next level. I'll be replacing the leading GT2 10mm belt on the X-axis with two motors, and the MKS housing, cable covers, and more will also receive upgrades. Here's a breakdown of the parts involved: Old Anet parts: * Y-axis: diameter 8mm x380 * X-axis: diameter 8mm x440mm * X-axis screws: diameter 8mm x340mm * Hotbed with all mounting hardware Frame: * 20mmx20mm aluminum profile (4 meters long) * 290mm (3 units) * 380mm (2 units) * 440mm (1 unit) * Corner pieces (6 units) - no support needed * T-corners (6 units) - no support needed * Fixing table rails (4 units) - no support needed * Blind fixing the table rails (4 units) - no support needed * Top holder (2 units) - no support needed * Front legs (2 units) - no support needed * Rear lags (2 units) * Extruder mount: two types to choose from * Rail mount: two types to choose from Y-axis: * Mounting bed: two types to choose from for Anet bed or 3-part bed, 1-part bed * Engine mounting: can be installed on the front or back of the printer - it will be mounted on the front for better access and Marlin software compatibility * Mounting bearing: 1 unit (bearing 608) - no support needed * Motor mount: 1 unit (bearing 608, thrust bearings) - minimal supports needed * Additional screw: 8mm for driving the Y-axis (460mm) * Screw mount: two types of fixing for Anet 3-part bed or standard bed Z-axis: * Top mount: 2 units + 2 units bearing 608 (left side only, mirror image on right side in a slicer or Cura) - no support needed * Motor mount: 2 units (mirror image on left and right sides) - minimal supports needed X-axis: * Motor mount: 1 unit + 1 bearing 698 + Igus 45mm or 2x25mm - no support needed * Right motor mount: 1 unit + 1 bearing 698 + Igus 45mm or 2x25mm - no support needed * Additional screw: 8mm for driving the X-axis * V6 mount: 1 unit + V6 hotend set * Nozzle fan mount: 1 unit + fan (40mm) Hotend mount: * Remaining parts I'll be using: + 5 NEMA 17 motors + MKS Gen L 1.0 single nozzle board with V6 hotend + Endstops: 2 units, optic type + Probe diameter: 8mm + Full graphic display (Anet display burned out) + 2x Mosfet Continuation of upgrades will follow soon.
