3D Printed Water Clock
thingiverse
My son's first grade science project involved creating a 3D printable water clock. The clock features a cup with a small 1mm hole in the bottom (which prints even smaller). When filled with one cup of water, the float rises over a 17-minute period. To use, place the cone into its stand and position it over a catch container. Pour a cup of water into the cone and start your timer. The accuracy may vary based on your printer and the hole's precision in the bottom of the cone. You can customize measurements by flipping the float and marking as needed. A Sketchup file is included, and the project is completed with its upload to Thingiverse!
