3D Printed Wall Mounting System
thingiverse
I required a solution for displaying my 3D creations on my cloth-covered office cubicle walls at work. To meet this need, I developed a system that enables the attachment of a printed bracket to the back of a 3D-printed object using a 3D pen. Originally designed to work with "T" pins or heavy upholstery pins, my brackets have been modified to accommodate nails, screws, and other types of wall hangers. This versatility ensures adaptability in various height-restricted locations. Multiple bracket designs are available, each catering to specific height requirements. The accompanying images showcase the range of brackets offered, as well as the attachment process for 3D-printed objects. Options are provided for securing the pin within the bracket, allowing it to move horizontally or remain vertically fixed. While upholstery pins are featured in the photos, "T" pin brackets (rectangular top designs) are also included. The final image displays one of my projects, which incorporates a variety of "T" pin and upholstery pin brackets with different depths to securely attach the project to my office cubicle wall.
