3D printed upgrade for an old 80*25 fan v0.1
grabcad
This project aims to breathe new life into an old 80*25mm fan commonly found in computers by reducing its noise. To accomplish this, the central holding plate of the noisy fan is cut and attached to the central pad of a 3D printed body using double-sided adhesive foam (tape). The foam helps absorb the fan's vibrations, transforming it into a silent turbine-blower for various projects. This project is my first attempt at 3D sketching an idea for fan utilization, and I plan to print it in two parts cut at 20mm height to avoid negative degrees of walls. Further details and updates will be shared in future versions. Your thoughts and questions are welcome as I'd like to discuss this idea further.
