These 3D-printed 'Soft-Touch' fixtures, or vises, demonstrate how to create 3D-printed components suitable for metal fasteners like bolts, nuts, screws, and threaded rods. They also feature dovetail notch connections. While they can be used as table vises, the example serves as a teaching CAD model showcasing metal-to-3DP part connections; it was specifically designed for a unique purpose to prevent crushing fingers. The vise's clamping force is intentionally limited to ensure safety during servo connection.
