3D Printed Tricopter
thingiverse
Introducing my 3D-printed tricopter, which I'm publishing now as it functions well. Further improvements are planned for both this and my quadcopter design. I'm thrilled with the outcome of this project, as the tricopter was my first love in multi-rotors. Feel free to replicate, modify, provide feedback, or fly! Donations for the designer are greatly appreciated. For those interested in using a CCD camera instead of a GoPro, check out this link. Note that HobbyKing links have been removed due to frequent changes; searching for components should yield good results. Printing instructions include 20% infill for plates, 50% for motor mounts, 25% for spacers, and 20% for the servo mount. Carbon tubes are sandwiched between spacers, secured with superglue or set screws. Electronics can be sourced from Hobbyking (except links) or GetFPV.com. The list includes NX-4008-620kv motors, Turnigy Plush 30A ESCs, Turnigy Nanotech batteries, and a KK 2.0 flight controller.
