I simply reinforced the dowel leg connector with a sturdy conical support that attaches directly to a single Voronoi strut on the stool, effectively bolstering its structural integrity. So far, this modification has proven itself reliable, as I've been using the stool daily and my weight of 190 pounds hasn't caused any issues.
