Sample ShoesThere are three sample shoes that demonstrate volume modification using surface texturing, conformal cell maps and surface lattices. To facilitate FDM printing, none of the sample shoes have outsole texturing.“Shoe Example – Textured” demonstrate two types of surface texturing applied to the upper and midsole inset volume“Shoe Example - Cell Map” demonstrates application of a conformal cell map define a gyroid TPMS structure in the upper, and a square honeycomb lattice structure in the midsole.“Shoe Example – Lattice” uses the “mid surfaces” to demonstrate two different types of surface lattice applied to the upper and midsole.This kit contains all the digital parts you need to design your own basic running shoe.These files are not meant to be printed directly. First, you will need to import them into your favourite 3D design software to texture, size, and combine according to your creative preferences. Final designs can be printed as you wish.Note that this is a concept design kit. Shoes have not been tested for functional “wearability.”All parts are for the left shoe, but most programs have an option to “mirror” the object to create the right shoe.
