3D-printed rotating display platform - turntable
thingiverse
You'll need a 5V stepper motor like the one shown, an Arduino board, a potentiometer, and some foamboard to bring this project to life. Two M3 screws are also necessary. First, print out the three required files, then assemble the box and lid together. Next, slide the stepper motor into place and secure everything using the screws. To achieve better balance for the turntable, you can add some heavy objects inside the box before finishing the assembly. Once assembled, connect the stepper motor to your Arduino board and follow the Fritzing diagram to hook up all the components properly. Upload the Arduino sketch to complete the setup, and you're ready to start using it! The potentiometer controls how fast the display platform rotates. The code used for the stepper motor isn't mine; I found it online but couldn't track down its original author. If you happen to know who created it, please let me know so that I can include proper attribution in my file.
