3D-printed rotating display platform - turntable
thingiverse
You will need a stepper motor like the one in the picture (5V), an Arduino, a potmeter, and some foamboard to make this work. You will also need two M3 screws. Print the 3 files, assemble box and lid, then slide stepper in and screw everything shut. If you want, you can put some heavy stuff into the box first so the turntable has better balance. Then connect the stepper to the Arduino and hook everything up following the Fritzing diagram. Upload the Arduino sketch and you're ready to go! The potmeter controls the speed of the rotation of the display platform. The code to get the stepper to work is not mine. I found it online and have been unable to find the original author. Should you know who it is, please contact me and I will include attribution in my file.
