Our MakerBot 2 and 2X reel adapters, available in two sizes (15mm and 35mm centre diameter), are ready for 3D printing. The two-part design includes a backing plate and spigot that print easily. After assembly, these simple-to-install adapters simply clip onto your MakerBot machine. Ensure a successful print by positioning the back plates on their side with a raft, using ABS or PLA as your material. Secure the bond between the backing plate and spigot using superglue, or reinforce it with an M3 screw and nut.
