3D Printed Reausable Diaper Clip

<p>This 3D printed clip was designed by Mbolo Association (<a href="https://www.facebook.com/MboloFandema">https://www.facebook.com/MboloFandema</a>) during the Hackathon focused on use of impact of 3D printing on waste management organized by Make3D Company Limited and UNDP The Gambia Accelerator Lab.</p> <p>The main idea behind this project is to facilitate use of reusable diapers instead of single use products to decrease the amount of waste. Since there is no systematic waste processing of used diapers in The Gambia.</p> <p>The 3D printed clip makes use of reusable diapers easy and by customizing the clip (writing the child's name or embossing a nice picture) wearing of reusable diapers becomes fashionable and attractive. The technological aspect of manufacturing also attracts the interest in the community.</p> <p>Make3D and Mbolo are still improving the design and incorporating 3D printing in related activities (templates and tools for the tailors etc.).</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>The prototype was printed using Original Prusa i3 MK3S (0.1mm layer height, Prusament PLA).</p> <p>The product is meant to be printed using SLA printer, in our case Original Prusa SL1. To ensure maximal safety we recommend using biocompatible tough resins.</p> <p>We have tested various orientation of the print. For the good and efficient results we recommend the settings as attached.</p> <p>The clips can be connected by a well sized rubber and adjusted to the necessary size.</p>
