3D Printed Rc Truck V4

Where to even start on this massive project... This is the continuation of the 3D Printed Rc Truck V4.\r\nI completely overhauled 80% of the drivetrain and now it's a full-time 6x6 rock crawler.\r\n\r\nThe entire idea revolves around making everything easily replaceable if it breaks, using only screws and bearings for hardware.\r\nAxles, "differentials", transfercase, driveshafts, wheels, chassis and more are all 3D printed.\r\n\r\nI've done all my prints in PLA with ~50% infill and 4 perimeters. Surprisingly, it holds up well despite the low infill density.\r\nThe axle shells could greatly benefit from being printed in a more durable plastic, maybe copolyester.\r\n\r\nBuild guide:\r\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek0QJJW5nR4\r\n\r\n\r\nParts that need to be printed several of:\r\n3x Truck_V4_Axle_Diff_Gear1\r\n4x Truck_V4_Axle_Diff_Gear2\r\n4x Truck_V4_Axle_Diff_Halfshaft\r\n2x Truck_V4_Axle_Diff_Halfshaft_Front\r\n6x Truck_V4_Ujoint(Connects to driveshafts)\r\n2x Truck_V4_Ujoint2(Outer steering joint for front axle)\r\n3x Truck_V4_Centerdiff_Ujoint\r\n10x Truck_V4_Ujointshaft_Ujoint_Cross(Spider that connects the Ujoint brackets)\r\n4x Truck_V4_Ujointshaft_A1(1 for each driveshaft)\r\n3x Truck_V4_Frame_Shockmount1\r\n3x Truck_V4_Frame_Shockmount2\r\n*2x Truck_V4_Frame_D4(ACC)(if you're printing the other Dx parts)\r\n2x Truck_V4_Rim_Front\r\n4x Truck_V4_Rim_Rear\r\n**10x Truck_V4_Tyre_Treaded_Solid\r\n\r\n*Truck_V4_Frame_Dx(ACC) is an optional tray for counterweight/tech storage, requires a large printer or splitting.\r\n\r\n**Truck_V4_Tyre_Treaded_Solid is meant to be printed in Ninjaflex or similar soft material. It's recommended to modify infill extrusion width to for example 50% which makes it underextrude on the infill, making a soft and mushy tyre that's nice to drive with.\r\nCan also be replaced with Tamiya truck tires like these: https://goo.gl/gqUhKS\r\n\r\nHardware list:\r\nAxles:\r\n6x RC shocks(~80mm recommended)\r\n18x 6700zz bearings\r\n45x M3x8 grub screws\r\n19x M3x10\r\n15x M3x16\r\n6x countersunk M3x16\r\n5x M3x25\r\n\r\n26x rodends(hole in ball needs to be 3mm)\r\nThreaded rod to fit the rodends(will depend on what you buy):\r\n-suspension links are 64mm eye to eye\r\n-panhard rod is 75mm eye to eye\r\n\r\nFrame:\r\n12x Countersunk M3x16\r\n9x M3 nuts\r\n16x M3x16\r\n4x M4 nuts\r\n4x M4x20\r\n2x M4x10\r\n2x M3x10\r\n4x 4mm rod, 80mm long(Frame reinforcements)\r\n\r\nCenter differential:\r\n4x 6700zz bearings\r\n2x M3x16\r\n3x Countersunk M3x16\r\n\r\nOptional flatbed:\r\n10x M3x16\r\n\r\nElectronics:\r\n1x Transmitter and receiver of your choice\r\n1x Standard size servo(I used Futaba S3003)\r\n1x 12V 550RPM motor(I used this: https://goo.gl/axambY )\r\n1x ESC to drive your motor(I used this: https://goo.gl/xMoZTQ)\r\n\r\nYou can check out more info about this and other projects here:\r\nhttp://www.youtube.com/c/MrCrankyfaceProjects.\r\n\r\nCheck me out at:\r\nYoutube: http://www.youtube.com/c/MrCrankyfaceProjects\r\nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/mr.crankyface/\r\n3d hubs: https://www.3dhubs.com/malmö/hubs/mrcrankyface
