3D printed RC Glider wing

I've created a speedy glider prototype for the SAE Aero Design competition, and it's a real showstopper! The wing may be on the heavier side, but it's incredibly robust - just what you need to take on the skies. This impressive structure is made up of 4 distinct sections that are printed flat, providing maximum stability during flight. At its core, I used 1/8-inch carbon rods, carefully placed in the middle section for added strength and support. The entire assembly was then held together with a generous dose of CA glue, ensuring every component was securely fastened in place. To give it an aerodynamic edge, I wrapped the entire structure in Monokote shrink membrane - a clever touch that will undoubtedly pay off during competition. As for design tools, I relied on SolidWorks 2019 student edition to bring my vision to life. The result is a true marvel of engineering!
