I needed to attach a video receiver to my Manfrotto 785B pistol-grip style tripod but didn't feel like spending extra money on an official quick-release since they're pretty pricey. Therefore, I remade the footprint with this particular model. This one works well for the Manfrotto Modo 785B, 785SHB/DIGI 718B and 718SHB Models, essentially any tripod with a hex-shaped quick release system.
