3D Printed Quadcopter Variant (Crossfire)
thingiverse
I recently encountered several issues with my initial design, such as difficult landings and obstacle interference due to the integrated landing gear in the motor mount/arm. As a result, I decided to redesign the arm for easier bottom-mounted motor installation and made the landing gear a separate component that can be replaced after accidents or wall collisions. This is my adaptation of MikeB's Crossfire drone, which I tweaked by printing the top plate with some modifications. I incorporated a motor mount within the control arm to enhance strength and length while maintaining gear stability. However, due to its size, it needs to be printed at an angle on the build platform (easily adjustable for multiple prints). For the bottom plate, I recommend using this Thingiverse link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:124868. The rest of the assembly follows MikeyB's original design.
