I used a variety of parts to test for the best press-fit peg design in a round hole. The Make Magazine article that inspired this experiment is available at http://makezine.com/2015/07/22/tips-3d-printing-press-fit-parts/. I also created slides based on my findings, which can be viewed at http://www.slideshare.net/kyong1989/experiments-with-press-fit-parts-hackware-20-talk. My printer settings were as follows: Moment is the printer model used for this experiment. Rafts are enabled to facilitate smooth part removal. Supports are also enabled to prevent warping during printing. The resolution of 0.2 mm ensures high precision. An infill density of 20% was chosen for optimal balance between weight and structural integrity.
