3D Printed Pop Pop Boat (6mm straw holes)
thingiverse
The original Pop Pop boat was designed with 5mm straws in mind. Unfortunately, I didn't have access to those. I enlarged the straw openings to accommodate 6mm party straws that were available for purchase. Only a few files were modified here, and they're all located within the "engine" file. The "hull" remains unchanged from the original project; it's included solely for reference purposes. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 5% Notes: The hull requires no special considerations. For the "engine," I discovered that Archimedean Chords infill (available in Slic3r) worked exceptionally well. ABS is recommended, as this design and its original counterpart necessitate a bit of flex to the hull in order for the engine to snap into place.
