3D printed pattern used for aluminum casting

In this continuation of my gravity-fed pellet extruder project, I share the process of using a 3D printed pattern to sand cast an aluminum heater block directly onto the pipe. To proceed, simply print two copies, drill holes for pins, and utilize them for sand casting.
