This groundbreaking initiative brings together students from STEM and Art departments in a unique STEAM collaboration. As a 1:1 chromebook district, our school is fully equipped for this innovative project. The concept involves using BlocksCAD to modify a loom that meets the precise dimensions required for crafting a custom knitted case for our district's chromebooks. Once printed, these looms will be handed over to the Art class, where students can utilize them to create cases for our school's chromebook fleet. This interdisciplinary project offers a wealth of learning opportunities, including coding, CAD design, 3D printing, knitting, and parametric design, all made possible through cross-curricular collaboration and cooperation.
