Please check out this video for more information and to see these ornaments in action: https://youtu.be/2W8YSOQ2y48 . These traditional holiday decorations can be hung anywhere using a little hook or string threaded through the loop hole. My wife and I also painted these ones, and we'll soon post a video explaining our process in detail. Initially, we sanded them with medium to ultra-fine grit sandpaper before applying plastic primer and adding a coat of spray paint in any desired color. We chose mostly silver and gold for this project. These ornaments make for a fun craft or art project for kids because they can be painted with acrylics as well, allowing them to design and create their own while learning about 3D printing. To print these decorations, you'll need the "normal-bottom" file, which represents the bottom half, along with the connectors. Next, top each ornament off with either the side hanging tab or the top hanging tab - all three parts took me about an hour and a half to print at a 0.3mm layer height. Once printed, snap them together by inserting the connectors into the slots on the bottom of each half of the ornament, then press them firmly in place.
