Please check out this video for more information and to see these ornaments in action: https://youtu.be/2W8YSOQ2y48 These are classic holiday decorations. You can add a hook or string through the loop to hang them on anything you like. My wife and I also painted some of these ornaments ourselves. We'll be posting a video soon that explains the steps we took in detail, but for now, here's a general idea: We sanded them using medium-grit sandpaper and then sprayed them with plastic primer, finishing off with a coat of spray paint. We chose mainly silver and gold colors. These ornaments would make great fun craft projects for kids because they can be painted with acrylics as well. Kids can create their own designs on the ornament while learning about 3D printing in the process. To print these decorations, you'll need the "normal-bottom" file for the bottom half of the ornament and some connectors to snap them together. You can use either a hanging tab or top-hanging tab to complete the ornament. It took me about an hour and a half to print all three ornaments, printing at a 0.3mm layer height. After they're printed, you can assemble the ornaments by inserting the connectors into the slots on the bottom of each half of the ornament and then snapping them together.
