3D Printed Modular Display Case

3D Printed Modular Display Case

myminifactory

A simple 3D printed display case for anything you want - I’m using it to display my minis.   It prints in many parts, and then it must be put together using some glue and M3 screws. Also, you need to buy some acrylic glass (plexiglass) cut to size in order to make shelves and the front glass screen.   The original box is meant to hold a 300x300 mm glass (3 mm thick), and shelves that are 300x60x3mm each. The shelves can rest freely within the grooves; the front glass can be glued to the glass mount.   The package includes expansions, and each expansion is 100mm in length, so you always expand the case by 10 centimeters. When expanding the box, you need to order bigger pieces of plexiglass.   The lights holder can be used to hold a 5V LED strip that is 8 mm wide. Such LED strip can be powered by 3 AAA batteries. There’s a cutout in the main box, in which you can place the battery box with a switch. I simply glue the battery box to the main printed part in such a way that I can still remove the lid and replace the batteries when needed.   The package contains 2 size versions of the main box:   - 60mm  - 100mm   This measurement refers to the „thickness” of the display case.
