3D Printed Mask (with Extra Sealing) – Product Details Download the PDF from the link for more detailed information. This guide, available here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ZIXSwbAl1jqTY08exCoxb7iIMS9U7RoK , will walk you through all the information needed for the 3D Printed Mask designed by FredSWUG and then modified and improved by Emanuel Enasoaie, which serves as personal protection in case no other option is available. The idea was to create a 3D printed mask that ensures sealing with the face and not just makes a nice-looking mask or one made to sell expensive filament for no reason. Before starting, you will need the following raw materials: PLA and TPU/FLEX filament, makeup cleaning disks or an air purifier HEPA filter, and a strong adhesive (super glue). WARNING: The design does not guarantee 100% safety but it's better than nothing. For full protection, buy a certified mask. The mask is divided into three main parts: 1. The Mask itself, 2. Cartridge, and 3. Face Sealing. All the project files can be found at the following link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1dDS1LEmIasbYmWPrI2jt_IcrBGwfbuDE For the project, Solidworks 2020 was used. All necessary files will be found in the archive: SW files, Step format of the project, preconfigured 3MF files for Prusa i3 MK3S, even renderings of the project or GCODEs. This is a true Open Source project where I have made all existing files available to you. As you can see, only in the cartridge are four gaskets (blue elements) that are squeezed together to achieve the best possible sealing. Initially, as you could see in Figure 2, the cartridge was much smaller but due to weak air flow, it has been increased from 35mm to 50mm in diameter. There is always room for improvement. The cost should be as cheap as possible and does not require things that are hard to get these days (taking into account that people have gone crazy on some items….).
