I've uploaded two upgraded versions of the Buckle, V3a. The compact one is ideal when wearing the mask with the buckle around the neck base rather than over your hair. It's also perfect for smaller printers. The longer version prints easier and allows you to cut off any unnecessary tabs for a secure fit. These FDM-printed mask buckles are highly recommended if you need to wear behind-the-ear masks for an extended period. They significantly improve comfort levels. The buckle features sturdy elastic band tabs and a flexible middle section that smoothly bends around the neck or head back. They're affordable enough to use daily, yet they last surprisingly long. Through my role at the Alcor Foundation in Scottsdale, Arizona, we print hundreds of these buckles each day and distribute them to hospital workers, cleaners, first responders, and anyone requiring face masks for their job. I've been printing 18 of these at a time on two printers and have produced over 1,200 so far. I've received feedback that nurses adore these buckles! In fact, they wrote me a letter expressing gratitude for providing them. Nurses and hospital staff must wear masks for hours, and comfort is crucial to perform their duties effectively under intense pressure.
