3d Printed Lock

I designed this in Fusion 360 using parametric modeling. I realized how cool locks were, and wanted to 3d print one. once I saw that nobody else has, I decided to take on the challenge myself. To make this, you need a spring. Any old spring from a pen should be fine. You need to print out of the models listed including: cap gear body key shaft key pin 1 pin 2 pin 3 and 4 (x2) raindrop housing lock pin Once you have all of your parts, you need to assemble them: 1) Place small springs into raindrop housing (cut down the springs to about 1/4 inch if you get them from a pen) note: This step may need to be repeated based on the spring. If the spring is too tight, the lock wont rotate. 2) Place pins into corresponding holes. Pins 3 and 4 go into the raindrop housing so the curve is facing the heyhole. Pin 1 goes into keyshaft into the hole closest to the key hole. Pin 2 goes into keyshaft in the remaining hole. 3) Now you place the raindrop housing over the key shaft. This can be tricky, and you will need to compress the pins so that theyre flush as you place them on. When the pins line up, you should hear a click, and the raindrop housing and key shaft should lock together. This is the lock core. 4) Place the lock core into the gear body, and position the lockpin in with the gears inside the gear body. 5) Place the lid on top 6) Presto! You're done. This lock is 100 percent functional, and can be used in any design that needs a lock. If you have any suggestions on how to improve it let me know.
