3D printed Lock

3D printed Lock

myminifactory

This is a 3D printed lock that houses four pins, each one capable of being printed in 3D format. Designing this component requires additional springs, totaling four in number and situated above the pins. These springs demand a precise diameter of 5 mm and a carefully measured length between 15 to 20 mm for optimal performance. For those seeking to spring-load their drawer, two supplementary springs with diameters ranging from 6 to 8 mm and lengths spanning 10 to 25 mm are necessary. Furthermore, four M3 screws and corresponding nuts are required for this design. Within the drawer itself, there exist two strategically positioned holes that accommodate two 4 mm pins of precisely 10 mm in length, serving as a crucial mechanism to prevent the drawer from jolting open prematurely.
