3D printed lock
cults3d
This is a 3D printed lock that incorporates four individual pins, which can be easily manufactured using the same 3D printing process. For this design, additional components include springs, precisely four in number, situated above the pins. These springs require a specific diameter of 5 mm and a length ranging from 15 to 20 mm for optimal performance. If you opt to spring-load the drawer, you will need two springs with diameters between 6 and 8 mm and lengths spanning from 10 to 25 mm. Furthermore, this design necessitates four M3 screws and corresponding nuts for secure assembly. Inside the drawer, two holes are strategically positioned to accommodate two 4 mm pins, each measuring 10 mm in length, which serves as a crucial mechanism to prevent the drawer from bouncing out of place.
