3D printed joystick case for arcade parts

3D printed joystick case for arcade parts

thingiverse

A design for a digital joystick with budget-friendly arcade quality components. Shaped similarly to the iconic TAC-2 joystick, but in a larger form. Requires a standard arcade joystick mechanism and one single button. I use this setup to create an Atari joystick for C64 and Amiga gaming, but you can fit any electronics inside that suit your needs. This model features only one button. If desired, mirror the design to have the button on the right side. For the base of the case, I utilize a 6mm transparent acrylic cut to size. You can opt for anything you prefer. A 3D printed bottom would also be suitable, but it may require some added weight to make the stick feel more substantial.
