3D Printed Hydrogen on demand Fuel Cell
myminifactory
Hello again! This time I've printed up a hydrogen fuel cell that's sure to impress. You can pick up the stainless steel parts at your local Home Depot, Lowes, or ACE Hardware store - all for under $40 bucks! But the real kicker is the fuel economy boost: 20% jumps to a whopping 50% depending on how you set it up in the canister. My version uses just 3.25 amps at 14.2 volts, and I've seen my fuel efficiency soar from 15 MPG to 25 MPG in my trusty 1985 Ford Econoline with its mighty 5.8 liter V8 engine. One important detail: make sure you print the lid at .96 or .97 size within Repetier-Host Software - if not, it won't fit properly in the canister. And don't forget to seal that lid with either a thin layer of cork or silicone to keep everything nice and tight.
