3d Printed Hydrofoil
thingiverse
I designed this hydrofoil using my 3D printer for an efoil project during high school. To print both wings, I need to mirror one of them. The large hydrofoil relies on a 12"x0.5"x0.5" spar and a 12"x0.5"x0.375" spar, which prevents it from breaking and makes mounting to the fuselage simple. For extra strength, you can cover the foils with fiberglass. Front wing V1 is my original design, while front wing V3 is a newer, larger version. I printed these in PLA with 3 walls and 65% infill.
